So sorry to hear that. I've done the same thing a couple of times. But take consolation from the fact that the plant is doing so well overall.
Also, if there is a node below where the spike broke it will likely send up a new shoot on the same spike, so don't cut it off completely until it is dried up and brown.

I looked at the picture a little more closely and there is definitely a node. I would cut down the spike to about 1cm above the node and it will likely continue to grow from the node.

Yay for the side spike! If it wants to bloom, it will bloom Really pretty Phal too, the paler pink picotée margin on the blooms is nice.

Unfortunately with these sorts of NoID Phals it's impossible to get an ID. You might find things it looks pretty like but you can't be sure its the same thing.
I like to make up my own names for such NoID's and as long as I only use those names for myself, (not posting them under those name or if I do making sure it's clear it's a NoID) then there is no problem with doing that.

I make up names, too! Which is why I have a Phal. homedepotensis and a Phal. kmartia.
