I can't imagine unpacking 50, not to mention paying for them! Should be an awesome photo session. You'll be swamped in newspaper and packing peanuts

X-mas and all the holidays wrapped up in one! It sounds like you're in for a great time. Do you have a welcoming/repotting squad lined up already?

That's about as big as my whole collection! I wish I had the space to order that many at once! (not to mention the time to repot...er, and the money....)

Im actually a pre-med student right so I have access to my uni's botanical gardens so i don't have to pay for extra space (if i need it), repotting and fertilizing supplies or laminar flow hoods and other stuff for flasking, etc.

I just got a call from my university that I got my permit for research on tissue culture. As part of this, I'm ordering 50 more (exclusively for college can't bring em home). What do you guys suggest. Any favorites lists that would help me choose...:P Gawd I'm loving this! I remember when i asked for the permit, the first question was "aren't you supposed to be a pre-med student?"

I think that you should concentrate on one particular alliance. Buying different species, from that alliance, and studying some aspect of it. I would say find something that interests you that's isn't particularly widely distributed.
I still want to know what you got in the first 50....
and I would say good luck, this is quite a project... but you seem to have this totally under control!
Lots of work! Have fun!
