Default Tree fungus on orchid mount
Hello everyone! I bought a gorgeous Sedirea japonica from an orchid show this weekend. It is mounted on what appears to be a redwood branch. Today I noticed some kind of fungi growing on the bottom part of my mount. It looks like a fungi that would typically grow on trees, and is white in color. My question is, do I need to treat this with a fungicide, or is it not anything to worry about? Please let me know

I've seen that on mounts and I just blast it with Physan 20. Never seen it since.

Oh yea, I have heard of this stuff. Will have to get some. Do I need to treat the whole orchid or just the effected area? Thanks for the advice

Won't hurt the orchid but if not broke, don't fix it !
