Hello, first I would like to say this is an excellent forum. I recently rescued a few Dens from Lowes. They appear to be in good condition. Marked down to $6.50 because they are done flowering (hopefully I can encourage them to flower again). My question is should I cut off the spike? If so how far down? Any other suggestions on care would be great.
Now, first let me say that I am the world's worst Dendro grower (until recently with minis ) but one thing is with all Dendros, when they are done, they are done. So feel free to cut off the old spike. Good luck with your purchases. They should definitely be worth 6$

I assume you mean they are done for this season. What is the typical blooming season for Dendros?
Typical blooming season for Den/phals is spring to fall. Some will bloom twice yearly.
You should see alot of new growth once the blooming period is over.
Agree with the repotting idea
Enjoy your new 'chids!
