Default Droopy leaves

I have been given 4 orchids in the last few years, and I have managed to care for them pretty well. However, 2 plants have developed droopy leaves, and I want to correct the problem before I lose them. I've read about orchid care and I don't find this problem addressed. Suggestions?

It would help if you can post some pics or at least tell us what kind of orchids you have, if is a phal maybe needs water, nutrients, roots problems, etc.

So, you can tell I'm a newbie. They are phals, and after registering I had a chance to read other posts on droopy leaves. I took my phals out of their pots and discovered that they were pretty wet. One of them had a lot of dead roots. I cleaned them both up, re-potted them, and will hold off watering for a couple of weeks. Then, we'll see how they do.
Thanks for the help.
