Brown leaf tips. Female
Question Brown leaf tips.

I have a Fdk. After Dark 'Black Pearl'. Several of the leaf tips have developed brown edges. Has bloomed before, had dry winter rest. Location has medium light with pretty fair humidity. Any help greatly appreciated.

flush the roots with water. chances are: crystalline deposits from fertilizer can deposit on the roots...it may also be a humidity issue ... pictures would be nice so we can advice you more accurately

I agree with Bud. Brown leaf tips often mean fertilizer salts have accumulated around the roots. Flush it out real well with plain water and flush it once a month after that.

Zoey, can you also put on your profile your USDA growing zone and your location in the USA?

Dark or discoloured leaf tips can also mean mites, so give a quick check for that.
