I "think" I like it. the thing that i dont like is the pricetag , But on the other hand it is in a 6 inch pot and in bud. I just want to know you guys' opinions. I only have one phal that i have had for 3 or so months now, and it seems to be doing ok.... i really dont want to kill this one because it is 30 dollars. Also is this what one would call a harlequin hybrid and is this orchid rare?

It's striking !!! Can't tell you if it's rare, it does look like a harlequin cross. Don't forget the shipping charges ! Not a bad price for a beauty, but that's your call ! My last expensive orchid purchase was my Fredclarkeara After Dark 'SVO Black Pearl' FCC/AOS and I put out $120 for it in bloom !!!

Thats not expensive. Its a good deal since it is going to bloom in a week or two...
If you like it and you think you can care for it, then buy it.
I dont think it is rare, since it is mass produced...
Better put your growing zone and location in the USA...it will be more accurate for us to give you advice in growing orchids.

I think it would be fair to say my jaw figuratively dropped to the floor when i saw a picture of that orchid

That's awesome! I have one orchid that I really want to ( other than this one) that seems to be very illusive. Never seen one like it. Now that I have seen your orchid though i may as well add that one to my dream list also

You guys twisted my arm enough I think I'll buy it along with a maudiae paph. I'll prob kill the paph... Anything new seems to go that way. Got a new car that got it's windshield sandblasted the other day by a truck my luck. I'll just need to research
