White oil on cymbs

G'day Andrew,
Thanks for that advice. I do have some in the shed and yesterday carefully used it, put the pots in the shade (I can't have a shade house - yard too small), the weather is fine but warm so I think the orchids will be fine. Again thanks for your interest.

Dudley,
Given your location, I doubt it's going to get warm enough at this time of year for white oil to cause you any real problems. It's moreso when the heat kicks in towards the end of spring onwards that you need to be more strategic about which days you spray.
