I have put keiki paste on a phal that has opened all of its buds. it has new growth on both the nodes I applied paste to that I'm inclined to assume will be keiki. the flower spike had two branches, and I trimmed one off with blooms to put less stress on the mother plant, but the other branch has held all its blooms on fine. it's been weeks. also note though, this is probably the healthiest orchid I have.
for the record, this may be useful info to some, I also applied it to a mini phal with bud blast. it had two spikes, and I applied it to two nodes at first...I didn't see any growth, so I reapplied to four nodes. I saw growth out of three out of the four nodes. I clipped one flower spike - again, I'm keen on not stressing the mother plant too much. two keiki per plant is enough for me for now.
my keiki paste is from the repotme website.
I may post pictures of it later, I'm all picture'd out today.
