it aint ever going to grow any roots if you keep dangling it around taking pictures of it. Plant it and leave it alone is only way its going to grow if it does. not enough root growth to sustain the existing stalks and whats there is being dried out. needs lots of humidity and air around the whole plant to get it growing. every time you pluck it out of the pot it has to start over again.

So my cattleya has a little more action going on. I don't know if this is a stem or part of the rhizome.

sii - your diligence has paid off, the growth coming out will grow straight out and than make a turn upwards to start forming a new psuedo bulb. You still have a long way to go but you are off to a good start. Congratulations.
