It just happens sometimes especially when you are getting used to a new plant and it is getting used to you. It dose look like there is a little more sun then the plant had before but that just means it will be able to do more photosynthesis which will help build stronger spikes in the future

Vanda issues - non blooming spike Male
Default New spike forming

Ok members......

Please wish me luck..a new spike is forming.. Here is what I am going to do

1. Already installed a fan on the porch to improve airflow

2. Will do my best not to get water / fertilizer in the stem...am now watering by putting basket in a bucket once a day

Question...should I stop fertilizing until it (hopefully) blooms?
