Help! Mysterious rings killing leaves!

if I had only had those for 1 and half weeks I would be sending them back.
Theres no reason that a healthy plant shipped a week ago should look like that. Im the beast and I couldnt do that to a plant in a week and a half without help.
I'm betting my money its a fungus set on by heat stress of shipping a weak plant.

At least send the pic to the vendor and see what they have to say but I'm willing to bet they will refund or replace it.

My take is a fungus.

It could be growing due to the plant being shipped wet, or due to water standing on the leaves since you got the plant.

Fungi are ubiquitous. If the spots were on the leaves when you got the plants, ask for a refund. If they were not, I don't think you have much of a leg to stand on in that request.

You might also want to check them when it's dark with a flashlight to see if they're being nibbled on by any critters that come out at night.

Had that same thing happen to a very "healthy" appearing dendrobium. I had bought it about a week prior to the onset of syptoms. Whatever it is it spreads very quickly. I threw it out, didn't want to risk infection of my other plants. I recommend you do the same (or send back to orig. grower). My take is, the organism responsible is present already, but then takes over when the plant is stressed (from environment change etc.). It destroys plants very quickly, keep it far, far away from everything else. Spraying fungicide did nothing to slow its progress for me. If you find out anything definitve give us an update--I'd love to know what it is too!
