If the leaves on my Phal. are turning pink does tha mean they are getting too much sun or just enough?

Pictures would be helpful in determining what is going on. Typically, purplish tinted leaves mean too much sun on older growths, but that same color can often be seen on new leaves as they are growing.

Depends on the hybrid -if it is a hybrid. some of mine have very pink/red leaves but that's caused by sunlight but, this year, we've had a rotten summer so I'm not put out by it. Many will have pinky red edges to them but it's nothing to worry about, I think.

I've heard and seen purple and reddish leaves, but pink's new to me! Pics would be very nice. Some Phals naturally have purple leaf undersides, no matter how good/poor the lighting. Some phals have young leaves that are naturally a bit purple-red, and then they lose the color as they mature. And generally when the light levels are ideal there will be a little bit of coloring on the leaves, usually near the edges. If the light is a bit strong then the leaves will be noticably and almost entirely tinged with color.
