There's an orchid at a local Gourmet store, a Brsdm. I think that has caught my eye. It looks to be in pretty good shape except the pseudo bulbs are wrinkly. Should I resist the urge to bring this one home, is this not a problem, or is there something I can do to plump up the bulbs? Thanks, Lisa
Check the roots. If they are healthy looking the plant will be able to take up water and the psuedobulbs will soon plump up again. If the roots are gone, it will be difficult for the plant to recover. (Not impossible, but difficult and it if it does recover will be set back a couple of years, so I wouldn't expect to see bloom again for some time....)
