Default vanda question

Hello,
To induce flowering I moved my vanda to a tall south window where it gets full sun from the morning until 2 pm. It produced spike almost instantly, but now, after over a month of her being there, I notice small black spots here and there on the foliage, not too many, but some. I think it might be a sun damage. If I will move vanda to a shadier location from the sunny spot now, would it abort the spike?
Thank you.
