Default vanda question

Hello,
To induce flowering I moved my vanda to a tall south window where it gets full sun from the morning until 2 pm. It produced spike almost instantly, but now, after over a month of her being there, I notice small black spots here and there on the foliage, not too many, but some. I think it might be a sun damage. If I will move vanda to a shadier location from the sunny spot now, would it abort the spike?
Thank you.

I guess it gets to hot behind the curtain. Vanda's like sun, but behind the glass it's much hotter than when outside. Perhaps you can put it behind a sheer curtain. Than it will get light, but not full sun.

This is the side that was turned up to the sun, the other side has none of those spots, that's why I thought it was sun damage.

Doesn't look like anything to be concerned over imo.

Thank you guys! So I will keep it on the same spot. I always cover vase with tinfoil from the sunny side to protect roots from the heat. It seems to grow well. I browsed through the pictures from vanda forum and noticed that some of them have the same spots too. Do you know what are they anyways?

I don't really know what these are - let's just call them sun spots.

I think it's wholly unrealistic to think that an orchid will be 100% pristine. I mean, it's not like they're pristine looking in the wild anyways.

Just know your Vanda looks fine for now and that there is no real big concern for the time being.
