Sii, you should try Safeway. Safeway here seems to always have oncidiums. They're nice but they grow like dandelions.

These are all from there.

On topic. Rona sells phals too. Maybe check some there They have 2 - 3 plants in a pot so in one pot there are like 3-5 spikes.

Eggshells,
Aww! My Rona doesn't have anything nice. Last time I was there I saw some sad looking pahls (dry and toasty or soggy)

As for Safeway, hmmmm I haven't seen any around here. But I guess with the temptations away, can't spend any money. Although now I'm REALLY going to keep my eye out if I see a Safeway during my travels.

BTW would you believe my nelly isler has a little bloom that's I saw opening this morning? Aww, she's so sweet. Maybe trying to cheer me up as I have a 'hospital shelf'. I hope the KLN helps me out.

I have bought a nice phal at Rona in the past but not with multiple plants in it. Our largest Safeway has a few catts or oncids occasionally but the other Safeways just have Phals.

So glad to hear your Nelly Isler has a bud.

Oops, I guess we are hijacking this thread Sorry.

Tim,

I am not certain now if you are looking for the spotted type of phal/doritinopsis or the fact that the one you covet has three plants in one pot. Since these are all mericlones, just make your own display pot and buy three, as that is what many commercial growers do for photo display and/or for show exhibition. It definitely will catch the buyer's attention!
