Default In need of identification

I am hoping someone could possibly help to identify this orchid for me. It isn't named I just need what type it is. The only id that I have is what was written on outside of the pot. It said Epicium and min catt. I don't think that it is a Epidendrum and I can't find Epicium (was thinking it is short form). Is it a mini catt? I would like to find out what kind of culture they need is it the same as a catt? Also I would like to see some pics of them as this oe was on sale and no blooms Thanks for the help

I'm not sure what Epicium may be but the only thing anyone can say that it is of the cattleya family and as such would need the same growing medium and the same general needs in growing catts. It could well be an Epidenrum. As for the flowers, well, it could be anything. There's no way of telling until it blooms.

It's definitely a Catt of some sort. Nothing with that name comes up in OrchidWiz either.

Thanks kelo and terri. I think that the label is wrong I purchased what said a mini catt from the same place and it turned out to be a reed-stem epidendrum. Is it a mini catt or some type or a standard catt and if it is a mini does it require the same culture? Also is it a bifoliate catt. Lastly it has 3 new growths will they eventually develop into bulbs and produce flowers (if conditions are right)? Sorry for all these questions as this is my first catt and I wanted to expand my collection of orchids with some different types and would like to give them the best culture that I can. Thanks again

You know as I look at it it reminds me a lot of my Cattletonia Why Not. It's a mini and bi-foliate. It has those same short chunky pbulbs too.

Could be Encyclia x Cattleya.

Mini catts and standard catts in general need the same care and growing conditions. The only diffence is the size.

Unifoliate catts have a single leaf comming from the top of the pseubobulb bifoliate have 2 leaves. Your looks like a bifoliate from the pics.

Yes the new growths should fatten into psbs, produce a sheath and eventually flowers.
