First attempt at mounting

So here's a pic of my first mounted orchid in my first orchid tank!

It's Leptotes Bicolour. I put a thin layer of sphag and then the roots on top... not sure what to think about the root, it was potted in fine bark which had obviously been soaked by the vendor prior to being sent. Although the plant looks healthy when I un-potted the plant alot of roots had grey/brown soggy sheaths that were stuck to the media and just came away... They looked dead to me and aren't any active tips but I don't know Leptotes roots, maybe that's normal? Somehow I doubt it!

The temp in my tank is 23.8c in the day and 20c at night with humidity mid 70s to mid 80s, do I think this will be ok?
