Not really.... Technically, "terminal" simply means the positional "end" of the growth front, and does not refer in the least as to whether or not the plant will grow more or rebloom.

Years ago, I would have agreed with the original comment fully, but I've run across SO many exceptions to almost every "rule" I learned about orchids and orchid growing that I just can't any more.

LOL Ray, I stand corrected. Technically it won't grow from that terminal end though correct? It will either send up a new shoot like a dendro or epi, or in the case of a monopodial a basal keiki. Oh, and will a Phal. with a terminal spike still bloom from the base?

Look, I don't want to be snippy, but please, there's no such thing as not using chemicals. The only thing you're doing is using different chemicals, some of which more pure than others, some of which more toxic than others. But it's all chemicals.
