I'm absolutely baffled by this! Is this normal?!

I take some of my orchids with me to the shower...and they have to take turns four at a time...some of my minis and the huge two vandas stay hanged on the center window of the bathroom...they like the warm steam and they grow roots like crazy and sprout new leaves...I wish they bloom huge flowers like yours

Generally the fewer the flowers on what should be a multi-flowered orchid, the larger the remaining flowers will be. Nothing really abnormal here, except I would question the cultural health of the phal.

I too wonder if it ever bloomed, as the original thread was posted in early July.

Bud your Vanda will continue to grow but never flower in the low light of your bathroom.

Vanda need 45-70% full sun. Your window even if it is bright is probably less than 20%. They either need to be outside to set flower buds or grown under very high supplemental lighting. Once the flower buds set they no longer need the high light and will open for your enjoyment inside.
