As if the knowledge that I own 14 orchids since I got my first one in March of this year wasn't enough to confirm that I'm hooked, I am now waiting and watching anxiously every day for my Brassia to bloom and I'm equally anxious for my friend's to bloom (we got them on the same day). The weather is nice here now, 63* lows at night and 88* high during the day. The humidity starts at about 80%, then slides to 45%-50%. The days are bright and sunny, but shaded on my front porch and there is generally a light breeze. This is not typical for July in South Carolina, but all of the 'chids are on the front porch soaking it up. I have 3 phals still blooming, one paph blooming, my wildcat rainbow is in bloom and I am waiting on the Brassia. Everybody else is doing lots of growing. Leaves Galore, roots, new growths and pseudobulbs. Even my little phal that had root rot and is in sphag and bag has grown a new leaf! And I know I'm hooked because all of this makes me supremely happy. I hope all of my other orchid pals are supremely happy too. Lisa
