These do like to be watered and dry quickly.
I do have a couple in treefern fiber in very small clay pots, can go 2-3 days inbetween watering (tho during very hot, dry weather, may still need daily water), and they have bloomed this way - I think moist any longer than that is too long for them tho. They like to be drenched, but then dry completely before getting watered again, and do not like their roots wet for long in that cycle.

How often can you water? If it is not every other day or so, this may not be the plant for you. I hope you can do it, they are enjoyable plants to grow and bloom when given the right conditions.

you can probably stick with the leca, but in a very small net or clay pot, with just a small amount of the leca - and use a skewer in there to make sure you're not overwatering

gl!
