Sorry, I have enabled PMs in my panel.
Thanks again.

Maybe I would also like to get in on this vendor info.
Now all I need is a reliable Masdie seller, as I have contacted Paramount about the availability of three that I want, but with all of this, I just hope they arrive safely. Does anyone know of ANYONE in Canada that you trust well that has Masdies?

Why PM the name of a good vendor when the info could be useful to many? Is it ok to share bad experiences but not good ones?

I agree. I think also that if somehow a representative from Paramount were to see this, a public loss of trust, and also a public knowledge of a new vendor, maybe it would give them the necessary kick in the pants.

I think 'Orchids I Our Tropics' in Ontario carries some masdies. From my experience, their website is very out of date, so just e-mail and ask them. I only ordered once, but got 3 large milts at $15.00 each (one in bud) and the postage total was only $15.00 so a steal of a deal!
Also, Ecuagenera will be in Calgary in sept. or Oct. for their show. They have lots of masdies and nice plants. Prices not bad either.

Woah! I just checked out there prices for Masdies, and the lowest is 35, which is the highest for Paramount!

Do you mean Orchids In Our Tropics? I hadn't looked at masdies per se, but just based on the price of their milts. Their milts are larger and $10 to $15 cheaper than Paramount and cheaper shipping.
Start saving for the Calgary show and check out Ecuagenera. The fall is coming fast anyways and you can load up then I or someone will be able to pick up the plants if you aren't going to the show. We'll likely be placing a group order with them, so possibly even a discount??

I do plan on saving up for that, but I wanted to get some now so that I can have some for a while so I can know if I can grow them or not.

Why don't you buy a cute little Miltoniopsis instead? They take similar culture. Then when you get your Masdies you can give me the milt!

I think I will stick with Masdies for now, as I need all the money I can get.
