Thank you Mervin. The ones with smaller roots I planted into plastic net pots with moss, but whoevers roots didn't fit small net pots - got potted into slightly larger clay pots with CHC. I am not comfortable with moss unless it is in a net pot because I am overwaterer and killed a good share of noid phals in moss.
I hope CHC is OK too with seedlings. What do you think?

CHC ? Sorry but I am not familiar with that term.

As for very young seedlings its better with moss or at least 20%-30% moss on the top especially when they arrived or was orginally potted with moss from the supplier.

They tend to get dehydrated rather quickly especially when stressed, at least thats my experience.
You will know when all their leaves go limp.

If you are not comfortable with moss then MIST(not water) them at least once a day, try to keep the leaves and crown dry.

What I normally do is to leave them alone for about 2 weeks when they first arrive to acclimatize before repotting or exposing them to direct sunlight.

This can be challenging to resist not doing anything especially when they do not arrive in good condition or the orginal moss is all green with algae.
