Worried about my babies.
Default Worried about my babies.

I am having a few issues with a couple of my Orchids. One (Phal?) seems as though its leaves are wilting, its in a room with an east facing window along with all of my other orchids. I posted a picture of how "bendable" its leaves are. I don't know what I am doing wrong.
Then I am worried about a couple fresh buds. One came up and was doing very well, had two leaves and was happy.. then I went to a local nursery here and had it repotted since it had been a while, and both the leaves have fallen off .
Then I also have another bud that was growing squished at first so I had it repotted as well, and two of its leaves are completely brown. The other bud on the same plant is huge and very happy.
Sorry this is so long, I just need some help. I have another Orchid who is doing soo amazing and its sitting on the same table with the others. I have put pictures of all of the problems. Thanks in advance.

The roots may have rotted out.

You might want to check them out and see how they're doing.

When the roots rot out, the plants can get dehydrated because there aren't enough roots to support the plant's needs for moisture.

If the buds on your Phal are having difficulty opening, I suspect it's because the roots were damaged. Damaged roots means the plant isn't properly hydrated. Improperly hydrated plant w/ buds = dried deformed buds that may not bloom correctly.

Low humidity can also be a culprit in buds not opening up correctly. I'd shoot for something like at least 50%; the higher the better.

Here are a couple threads that might help you out:

Thank you for your help! I think my Phal is a goner I bought it as a grocery store and didn't realize they usually are packed too tight, I think it has root rot. Also, I have another one I bought from the grocery store but it seems to be doing so well. I was planning on mounting it so I am not sure if I should repot it. Do you think my other two are not doing well because of the same issues? They were repotted and since then are not doing so well.. maybe it wasn't time for them.

The only way to know if your Phals have root rot is to pull them out and see.

Sometimes the problem is caused by using moss as a potting media in a pot that is very large.

Too much moisture, not enough air.
