Default Need A Little Help Reading an ID Tag

Good Day All!

Pleased help with reading this tag -

From some web surfing on parts of the name, I've figured out most of it - at least I think I have - but not the last word. I read it as -

Dtps. Hwafeng Redjewel-New Cinderella x Dtps. Sogo Davis Col??????

Any help??

Thanks!

We can simplify that a bit: Dtps Hwafeng Redjewell x New Cinderella has been registered as Dtps. I-Lan Cinderella.

I suspect whatever is after the Dtps. Sogo Davis is meant to be a cultivar name.

I thought it read-
Dtps Hwa Feng (Hwafeng) Red Jewel - New Cinderella x Dtps Sogo Davis (Golden?)
The closest I could find to Dtps. Hwa Feng (Hwafeng) Red Jewel is Phal (HwaFend Red Jewel) here - Welcome to South Pacific Orchids, Inc
Phal New Cinderella - which is here
Welcome to South Pacific Orchids, Inc
and Dtps Sogo Davis ... Golden(perhaps)?
This I could not find ..

If you know the vendor - you can look it up by the number M072701

Good luck

Dtps. Sogo Davis can be found on this site. It is a cross of Dtps Luchia Davis x Phal. New Cinderella

The last word on tag is Color and there is usually an abbreviation for a color after it, such as Pk for pink or R for red, etc.

Orchidaceae, Inc.

Hwafeng Redjewel and New Cinderella are both Phalaenopsis, thus the registered hybrid name (per RHS) is Phal. I-Lan Cinderella. This hybrid comes from Ming Hung Orchids (part of Ming Hung Flower Co Ltd) in Taiwan.
Mating Phal. I-Lan Cinderella with Dtps. Sogo DaviS makes the offspring a Dtps. (Doritaenopsis); such a mating has not yet been recorded / registered at RHS.
10/20/04 could indicate the hybridizing, mericloning, flasking date.
M072701 is probably a catalog or inventory number.
You might want to forward the tag photo to Howard Ginsberg at BedfordOrchids.com - he does a lot of work with the Taiwanese and he may be able to clarify ID of your plant.
BTW, to confuse things even more, there is a Phalaenopsis named Sogo DaviD.
