They are both Dendrobiums. These two are commonly known as phalaenopsis Dendrobiums, as their flowers resemble Phalaenopsis flowers.

The top one looks like Den. Burana Jade, and the bottom one looks like a hybrid of it (not sure which).

Those vandas in the background are very nice, too.

Yes, both are dens. The first one has longer canes like Den. sonia. The second one has short thick canes.Can't post a picture now as it will leave my neighbours wondering as to what I am doing in my garden past midnight.

Default Background flowers

Are the background flowers vandas? I got cuttings from a guy who said they were mokaras though neither he nor I have any idea as to their names. This is a clearer shot of themtwo similar blooms ?-img063-jpg

I am sure the middle one is a Mokara, which is an intergeneric hybrid between a Vanda, Ascocentrum, and something else. The culture should be pretty much the same as a Vanda, though.

I believe all 3 are Mokaras.

Mokara = Arachnis x Ascocenda x Vanda

Arachnis have long petals and sepals, giving them a spidery look, hence the name Arachnis.
