I just bought this one as a bagged chid from Lowes. I hope it turns out well like yours. I love the coloring on it.

In addition to selling the regular, mostly NOID, potted orchids in bloom, they also sell orchids that aren't in bloom. Usually encased in a net bag. The bagged chids usually have a name tag.

If you get lucky and come on shipment days, there are some really healthy ones to pick from. The Colmanara Wildcat 'Green Valley' that I bought is in short spike. WOOT!!

Thanks Linda, Good to know. We don't have Lowes here yet. But I think they are building one. Will do that some time. Take care.

They opened Lowes here in Ottawa this year. I was hoping to find all those "Lowes orchids" that are mentioned a lot on this forum.
To my dissapointment - they had the same mostly noid phalaenopsis selection as HD, Rona and others.

Beautiful colmanara!

I've never seen anything more than NOID Phals at our Home Depot either. And they aren't even a decent price usually. I don't expect anything more from Lowes when they finally come here. I think it's the import papers etc. Too much hassle for a big box store.
