Ok... im gunna come clean here.... this probably isnt the best place for this post....

But i am wanting to be a new orchid grower and really need your help. I entered into a contest and people are now voting on the haiku they like... and i really need help!

Also any tidbits of care info you can give on phals would be appreciated!

I'll need to post again for votes for the grand prize I have a 1 in 5 chance of winning 4 more. I think it is in august some time. I think my orchid may come today !!! I will post pics to this thread. Hopefully it is a color I want

Just a quick note in case you have not come across this before but I noticed the competition is from "Just ADD Ice Orchids".

The general opinion here in the past is that their orchids are good... but the 'Just Add Ice' technique of watering is not a good idea in most cases. So once you get it just water it normally for a Phal and give it standard care for a phal. I'm not sure your experience or what you've already read so give us a shout if you need help with general phal care and watering.
