Default Ascocenda vs vanda & ascocentrum

This may not be a beginner discussion or posted in the right place....my apologies. Here's the deal, I have had years of success with a couple of ascocentrum plants. They bloom, they grow, they rest, they repeat. I have also had success with a couple of vanda seedlings under my care for ~2 years..no blooms, yet. I had 3 ascocendas, that I really loved, die in the last year - Princess Mikasa "sapphire", Tubtim Velvet x Louise Gabbert, and Kultana "peaches". They were the only 3 ascdas I owned and I had owned them for enough years to have moved them from seedling to blooming adult, then, bam, all three....dead. If I can grow the "parent" plants, then why can't the offspring survive? I need some objective input. Thanks!

In my opinion, there is no reason that you should have any more difficulties with ascocendas.

Therefore, I have to ask you for more details on both their culture and their progress to death, before making any kind of meaningful response.
