Default Which variety have the more long lasting flowers?

If possible make two list:
one about orchids with no scent;
the other about orchids with nice good scent.

To my limited knowledge, phaleanopsis orchids tend to have the longest lasting flowers. Depending upon the species, some may have a scent.

Another one with really long lasting flowers but no scent is the Dendrobium cuthbertsonii, however it can be very difficult to grow. If you can grow it, data suggests the flowers can last between 6 to 8 months.

If you are searching for orchids that will be consistently in flower, you might try searching for orchids that are sequential bloomers such as the Psychopsis. I don't believe they have a scent however.

I've had NoID phals that hold the same flowers for 6 months. Generally a standard NoID phal will hold it's flowers around 3 months. I'm afraid I don't know what species tend to go into these though so can't help with long flowered ones at the species level, just that Phals in general are long lasting out of all the orchids.

cyms can hold blooms quite some time - one of mine first started to bloom in early Feb, is just now fading, and it has a subtle fragrance, tho it's a noid

Dens in the latouria section can hold blooms 3-4 months
