wobbly plant - need to repot? Male
Default wobbly plant - need to repot?

Received a few orchids by mail two days ago. All arrived in great shape; however, two of them - a Dendrobium and a Cattleya - are wobbling in their pots, most likely due to impacts during transportation. I can't see any broken roots, but i did not take them out of their pots completely so not sure. Should I repot them, or let them recover? They are in plastic pots, in coarse bark. Thanks in advance!

Default

If the combination of bark and plastic pots fits well with your overall culture, and the medium appears to be relatively fresh, stake them and carry on.

If either of the two criteria is not met, repot.
