I want flowers darn it! Thanks, Gladys
If that question is for me here goes:

Mine is in a west window, bright indirect sunlight through a sheer curtain. I water it every 2-3 days depending on how hot it's been in the house. It gets fed 1/4-1/2 strength Miracle Grow every 2-3 waterings.

You have to have patients with orchids but don't give up! Yours *may* need more light and or fertilizer. How much of each does it get now?

Well, I did buy it when it already had one spike halfway bloomed, so I've never tried it on my own. It just happened to grow another spike two weeks after I bought it!

But as far as what I do--I've been watering it in a bucket in the bathtub for 5 minutes about once every 4-5 days. I did feed it some fertilizer for orchids that I got at Home Depot. It sits in 82 degree weather during the day near a ceiling fan and just out of the way of the draft from the AC window unit. I do not give it direct sunlight. It's about 8 feet away from the window and the sun doesn't hit it directly, but it gets decent light. When I get home from work, it enjoys 72 degrees of coolness before I go to bed. Nothing fancy. After this spike blooms, I will be VERY interested to see if it ever blooms again!

Oh yeah--that question probably wasn't for me. But just in case--I have an east exposure window.
