Default Dryadella Edwallii Growing info...

Hello all!

I need to pick the communities brains on the Dyradella Edwallii orchid.
My Dryadella, when I first purchased it. Did very well, almost went into flower (I saw at one point about 4 buds starting to mature). Then one day I noticed that it dropped the flowers.
Now it looks very unhappy and THAT WILL NOT DO!

It is a very unhappy orchid

I have tried various things with it...more/less light, more/less water, but I am at a loss to what this orchid prefers in growing conditions.

Please...any help is GREATLY appriciated!

According to orchidspecies.com, full shade and nights no cooler than upper 60's/mid-70's F (20-24C). It is from the rainforests of Brazil, so high humidity and constant moisture are a "must", but being an epiphyte, it needs to be in a very airy medium.

By the way, in the case of a species, the specific name is not capitalized: Dryadella edwallii

I grow 3 or 4 plants of this species in fairly low light with my pleurothallids and they are treated the same. The temperatures are fairly cool compared to Ray's numbers mentioned above (down to low 50's at times). The key is moisture.....If you can grow Restrepias or Masdevallias then Dryadellas are pretty easy.
