Put a smaller pot in the bottom of the larger pot. Work the roots around the smaller pot, and fill in the space with media.

In regards to the Phal with the damaged leaves...

That's still quite possibly alive, especially if it has a good number of living roots.

In the sticky "The Phal abuse ends here." I have photos that prove that even a leafless Phal can still be alive and bounce back.

I am sorry but i am not quite sure what you meant and please bear with me. I am still a baby learning about Phal. Does the phal need repotting again to it's original 12 cm pot?

Once again, i am sorry for asking so much question

No, you don't need to put the Phal back into the old pot. The larger new one is fine. What you can do to make sure that the pot is not too big for your Phal, is that you can get a smaller pot than the one you're using right now, turn it upside down, and put it inside the larger pot.

Then you put the Phal in the large pot.

Last you put in the potting media.
