I have this cymbidium orchid that i got from a friend. It was kinda looking ratty when i got it and i divided an repotted about 3 plants. They all had like black spots on them but she said that it didnt harm the plant, just made it look funny. So i believed her! My questions for you all is.. Is this a disease or a virus or a fungus? Will it kill this plant? Any way to fix or treat it? Fungiside? etc.. Any information would be amazing. Attachment is provided.

How do the actual leaves look? the old bracts around the pseudobulbs can get ratty looking but if the leaves are a clear green it is likely fine. There is a virus called cymbidium mosaic virus and the leaves are all marked as well.

The leaves are a light green/ yellowish color and also have some black spots on them. These black spots dont look nearly as bad as the bulb tho.

The black spots on the leaves are probably water spots, I don't worry about them.

The photo shows primarily old, dying pseudobulbs. Can't tell much from that.
