I decided to repot the phal I had for my birthday last week as the bark was really broken down and old, I use the same mix as all my other phals fir bark, perlite and foam. It took a long time as its two phals in one pot and they were all wound together so I didn’t separate them.
I cut away all the bad roots and used rooting hormone on the cut tips. The one leaf has grown bent over as the flower spikes are in the way for it to take its natural path, what would be the best way to try and straighten the leaf as it a big centre one?
Your phals look very healthy. You apparently did an excellent repotting job. I don't think you should try to change the way the leaf is growing. All phals do that same thing. The spike needs to get past those big leaves to bloom. Just let nature take it's course. Good luck and enjoy!
