This board is awesome! With all the information on this forum I've seen my orchids grow in leaps and bounds. I've always been able to keep my orchids alive, but could never get them to bloom or put out new growths. Now, five of my ten orchids have new growths, and one even has a spike!
I second that. Since I discovered OB last September, this is my go-to place for any orchid question. And yes, my plants are doing so much better now that I know a little better what I'm doing. Then of course I have WAY more plants now than before I found OB Thank you!
It really isn't good for my addiction -- I went from having four orchids last month to having ten this month. If things keep up at this rate I'm going to have to start borrowing my neighbor's porch
Uhm, yeah... 7 months ago my collection consisted of 5-6 phals. A month ago my husband counted 48 orchids: phals, catts, dens, a few minis, a few seedlings, oh my! Something is clearly wrong with me! I'd love to stop buying, but every time I see a new leaf, root or a spike I think, ok, I can do it, TIME TO PRACTICE SOME MORE!
