Went to an orchid sale this weekend and even though about 10 orchids tried to follow me home, only these two little guys succeeded.

Gives me something to look forward to in May!

Can't wait.

Did you go to the orchid sale at the Lyman Estate? Several tried to follow me home, but somehow I resisted.

That's the one! I love that place. Lynn is the greatest - she is an orchid genius!

And, Chieko is the greatest as well as a neofinetia expert and a member of Mass Orchid Society (as is her husband Ralph).

Oooh! I've been longing for a niveum. I'm going to look for it at our show next weekend.

I also just picked up a Paph. Lynleigh Koopowitz, a Phrag. Grande, and Phrag. Les Dirouilles (Grande x Sorcerer's Apprentice) for $2 ea. An older couple who used to belong to our society is closing their greenhouse. Everything they don't sell is going on the compost heap! The plants are a little tough looking but for $2 who cares? I'm sure they'll all make a comeback.

I keep expecting that last one to say "feed me Seymour!"

They look great though!
