If there are 6 or 9 roots, the pot may be too big and may have caused more damage to the roots, idk...

Again, it's difficult to say without actually seeing a pic of the roots right now.

If there is no root damage, then yes, water more often.

If there is root damage, down pot, and watch how much water the plant receives.

You might wanna consider obtaining a hygrometer in the near future to measure the humidity around your growing area in order to have better control over what is going on with your plants. They're not that expensive.

have you seen blue phala orchids? I just saw some at Home Depot. $30. Should I buy?

I've seen pics of them from other members.

They are dyed blue.

To date there are no such things as naturally true blue Phalaenopsis.

It's up to you whether you want to buy them or not. Just know the blue will not come back on the subsequent blooms in later years.
