So I've only had orchids for 2 weeks, but one of my phal noids had a bud on it and today it decided to start to bloom.

I'm so happy!

Atleast I know I haven't killed it yet

Beautiful color. You must be caring for it right. I've had a few phals that their buds died when I took them home. I hope yours continues to have good health!

congrats! very beautiful colour! I'm a beginner who has just inherited a bunch of orchids and I know I get this excited when they bloom as I know at least I've kept them alive and 'maybe' I'm doing something right! Know how you feel!!

Good Color.... You are doing good ....
I too purchased a white Phal in the same condition. Its blooming for me one bud opens in 3 days

Just an input, do not play/disturb (unintentionally ) with roots of this Phal.

I lost a bud in Budblast . Remaining buds are fine
