Which orchids smell like this?

Ive recently gotten a bug for scented orchids but have only found the vanilla/chocolate scented ones. what would you guys recommend that smell like the following smells:

1.cinnamon
2.clove
3.citrus
4.roses

any help is appreciated

Citrus reminds me on Haraella odorata. Some clones smell better than others, smell like Lemon.

yes, Haraella retrocalla has a citrusy scent, Sedirea japonica also has a lemony scent

my brassia new start galaxy smells like citrus in the heat...and epicatt siam jade 'avo' smells like roses...and my old bc praetii smells like cloves....thats the best i can do.....gl

Phal violacea smells like cinnamon to me and so do some catts like Pot. Lisa Taylor Gallis 'Taylor'. I have a Phal. Fortune Buddha x Sara Lee that smells like citrus, and from what I understand the scent comes from the Phal Fortune Buddha parent. Milt. Andrea West has a scent like roses.

Calanthe generally smell like cloves i believe. (i don't grow them but i really want to.)

Well, the ones I know are:

Clove:

- Gongora clavidora (I smelled a hybrid of this plant, and the scent was strong enough to fill the immediate area)
- Huntleya wallisii (this one's a tough one to grow, though, and the fragrance is a bit closer to that of star anise).
- Huntleya meleagris
- Rhynchostylis gigantea (it's actually a combination of clove and citrus, kinda like orange tea).

Cinnamon:

- Lycaste aromatica

Citrus:

- Vanda denisoniana (these smell exactly like orange blossoms)
- Aerides species (odorata and lawrenceae, I believe)
- Sedirea japonica

Can't think of more right now, but I'll post again if I think about them. You gotta also keep in mind that fragrance varies from clone to clone; while one plant of a certain species/hybrid may be richly fragrant, another one may not.

Most of my orchids have a scent-- I buy them for it-- and most of them are phals. Most smell like cinn. and vanilla, or a honeydew scent. The only one I have that smells like a rose-- and it REALLY smells strong mid-morning-- is my fragrant phal Schilleriana. It's in bloom now with a pretty big display of blooms and when I walk into the master bathroom where I keep it while it blooms (it likes the humidity from our showers), it's like an english rose garden in there.

We were noticing at a show recently that the Dendrobium rigidums we were selling had a nice vanilla smell. Not sure they all do.
