So Cal changing shadecloth for bright season
Default So Cal changing shadecloth for bright season

My GH is under oak leaves with 50% shadecloth and up through March with occasional partial cloud cover maxes out at around 3500 mid day. But now I'm getting 5500 to 6000 mid day and my goal is 3500-4000 max (I have a few Vandas but mostly Cattleyas, and hybrids of Oncids, Odontoglossum, Brassia). Would you double the layer of 50% or just replace it with - say 75% for the bright season? How to estimate? Hard to keep it balanced year round! I'm even open to change the polycarbonate roof. Thanks.
