A new spike

Hi there OB,

Here is the latest update of my phal spike, it has a new root growing too.

I know the feeling of seeing that phal stem. I have one that has been growing for about a week. It hit the lower leaf, so I'll watch to see if it'll grow around it.

Another spike progress picture. just noticed it's a bit of a dark picture as the sun was bright. i'll attach the spike to a proper cane when it gets a bit bigger.

Here are the latest pictures of my phal spike, it's now started growing a side spike too :-)

All of my phals apart from the first one i ever got in easter 09 are growing spikes and one has 2 spikes which is fantastic.

The first phal i ever got in easter 09 off my friend has still never grew a spike, it's grew leaves and plenty of roots, i'm sure it will in time.

My friend sent me a lovely phal last week for my birthday which was great :-)

It's took about 3 months and the first bloom on my phal spike has opened, i will post more pics when they all open. I have more phals in spike to show u soon.
