Yesterday I was at Giant here and I saw some dyed green orchids (we all know they weren't green) that were fading being sold for $30 for St. Patrick's day. I was like "really?" The florist picked four flowers off one of them and offered it to me for $6 but its roots were "meh" and I already have three of them. Figured fiance would probably kill me. xD

Butterfly, I think "collecting" orchids is a harmless addiction. I mean, we could be smoking crack, drinking or gambling the house away. I would say that to keep it in check somewhat, don't buy anything that you don't absolutely love.

That is my solution to everything...usually. Sometimes there are just bargains I can't say no to. xD But yes, I try to limit buying anything to "Do I love this enough?" I did that yesterday and carried around a clearance print from Pier 1 with me until I finally talked myself out of it and put it back. XD Then Fiance came home and when I told him he was like, "I like that picture, it's cool" Derp. It's the Cold Stone principle, only get GOTTAHAVEIT! =)
