New orchid growths are pale - Orchid Board

I have new growths sprouting at the base of a couple of my orchids (yay!). However, the growths are pale whitish-yellow rather than green, and I'm wondering if this is any cause for concern.

One of the orchids is a hard-caned NOID Dendrobium (Photo #1) and the other is a Better-Gro Trichocentrum Ollie Palmer (Photo #2). Pics are attached. I've also attached a pic of the Dend in bloom if that helps...I really have no clue what kind it is. (Photo #3).

Any idea if the pale color indicates a problem, and if so, what I might be able to do about it? Thanks in advance!

They do look a bit pale. almost like they were growing under the media and got uncovered very recently?? that's all I can think of. If the rest of the plants are green and healthy I don't think I would worry too much. Do your fertilize occasionally? Strange that two different plants would do that.

Oh! That is totally it. The growths in both plants were hiding under the media and I discovered them when I was watering recently. Guess I need to make sure the base of my orchids aren't so well covered when I repot them.

Great! They will green up now as they get sunlight. I would be careful about giving them too much for a few days. The rhizome connecting the pseudobulb should not be totally covered or it could rot.
