Question Schultz Orchid Mix

Does anyone know where I could buy some Schultz Orchid Mix? It seems like they have went out of business or something. So if any of you know of an online place please post it here. Thank you.

I believe they were trying to reorganize but have not seen any of their products since they first disappeared. I enjoyed their orchid mix for my Catts. Now I go to rePotme.com. They have prepackaged mixes and they work very nicely. Give them a try.

Hi, I actually am trying to find a good mix for my catts too. I actually bought catt mixes from Repot and it was too dry for them. I wanted to add that Schultz to that mix and see if that would help. I live in Colorado and it is very dry so I think maybe the premium catt mix I bought is just too dry for here. Thanks for the help.

Then give s/h a try for your Catts. You can easily modify moisture level by either keeping the reservoir full or allowing it to dry.

Other option, which is tricky, is adding a little sphagnum. A possibility too may be to add leca to your mix you are presently using. It will wick up some water for later release. I'm sure others here will be able to help with how they solve this problem.

S/h is semi hydroponic - it means growing in a special pot with a drainage hole about a third of the way up in inert medium called LECA, which you water everyday and allow to dry between.

Well, thank you for explaining that. I never heard of that. Might be worth a try. Thanks again everyone.

Gee I just potted up a couple of plants with Schultz today. I bought it at my local garden center. They may have bought a lot of it some time ago and that is why they have it.
