Lighting?

I am trying to grow my orchids indoors. I have about 11 orchids now and I have to move them to the basement I was just wondering what kind of bulb lighting I should use?

Did you try looking through http://www.orchidboard.com/community/parts-equipment/ to read all the posts related to lighting? I know there are several there that would address this question.

Many folks use what is called t5 flourescent bulbs available from hydroponics stores. Others use MetalHydride bulbs. Others have success with simple shop lights from Home Depot. There are lots of issues and lots of things to deal with when moving to a basement. We've talked about lots of them here already.
