Default Psy. 'Mendenhall' Hildos

This plant is healthy. It has two spikes, just finished a flower and is starting a new bud. I just noticed this coming off of the largest bulb. Is the circled area a new growth or another spike? The arrow is pointing at what I think is a new root.

I think they may both be new growths, but the pic isn't real clear. It will be easier to be sure with the smaller one soon. It looks to be growing happily, keep up the good work.

Just a small correction and addition to the name... the abbreviation for Psychopsis is Pyp., the cross is Mendenhall (so no quotes), the cultivar is 'Hildos' (with quotes), and this has an award.

Pyp. Mendenhall 'Hildos' FCC/AOS.
